Hello Tomtom experts,

I need some help if possible. Sorry if my english is not perfect, i'm french.

Since a week, i try to get a canadian map on my Tomtom XL.

I've downloaded differents maps (Western_US_and_Canada_995_8546 / Canada_Alaska_995_8508...) but it is always the same problem. When I use Fastactivate.exe, i have the same message : "Western_Us_and_Canada-101293.meta => .dct ERROR."

I don't know what to do now... I've updated FastActivate.exe, I added meta
"46 ED D6 8A 74 5A DA 0D 26 B8 F6 39 E5 C4 2C 4E Western_USA_and_Canada-101293.meta ; Western_USA_and_Canada 995_8546" in the folder "intregrated meta" and "upadated meta"...
I also tried to put FastActivate.exe, and integrated meta and updated meta in the map folder but always the same message.

I'm not very good in informatic , maybe i did something wrong but i don't understand why this doesn't work...

If anyone can help me, using simple vocabulary (if possible ) i will be very grateful !

1. You cannot activate a map unless the meta code is listed on this page
2. The map you download must be compatible with the navcore you have installed on your device

You should start by reading the tutorial

I recommend you download: Canada 995_8549
Download the latest version of FastActivate and follow the instructions given on the page to activate it.
