I have have tomtom one 3rd edit. Just connect to pc för first time , and did update , now no map. found.

Follow the instructions provided within the map thread and for the linked FastActivate.

Now I get the map but I get no usable location near gps position , what ever the location I choose

In my mind your device the 1 gb storage capacity is too small to fit a 9.510 navcore and a European zone map.
But you can use the default last navcore (that TomTom Home offers you) and it will only just fit.

Connect with Home and update the quickfix GPS data.
Otherwise it can take up to 15 minutes to get your first lock on the satellites.
