help a noob with a map error on a GO 530

Hi all, I have done loads of reading but need some help to get a map working on my tom tom!

I used that big chart to find a navcore and map that would work on my device.
I downloaded a full backup of navcore 9.430 from Downunder35m to use on my tom tom GO 530. It loads with a picture of a castle or monastery and has loads of voices..

I deleted everything from my internal memory and copied the contents of the backup over. It installed fine and i ran fast activate from the tom tom to patch it.


I downloaded the North Europe 905.4754 map with patch and installer (it took an age in 7 parts), but it wouldnt fit on the internal storage so i installed it on to an SD card i put in the TT. The map had the meta data but i dont know what to do with it?

The tom tom finds the map but it says you cannot use this map on this device

im sure its something simple but if anyone can help out?

Ifyou have the map on the SD you also need a copy of your ttgo.bif in the root of the SD,
add the latest Version of FastActivate and let it do it's magic ;)

PS. The current navcore for your 530 is 9.465!
