Hi, this may sound silly but once you download the maps, the latest meta code for it and fast activate keygen, is there a step by step guide on how to put this all together and install it correctly on the tom tom device and PC?

The meta code is included in the FastActivate download.
1. unzip the map, which will create it's own folder.
2. remove the old map folder, if space is an issue.
3. copy the new map folder into the device.
4. follow the FastActivate instructions to patch the map & navcore.

Disconnect & reboot. Done!!

Thanks. I have installed 920.5241 version of UK and RO1 maps. I have done and followed FastActivate instructions to patch the map & navcore BUT tomtom is not working. Its coming up with blank screen and says no maps selected.

Looking at the TomTom Home, its showing the maps as being installed.

I have TomTom GO 510 (the old one).

Am I missing something ?

Doesn't fastactivate update navcore or am I required to do something else with navcore? Just a bit confused.

Also could someone please advise the correct navcore that I would require to update my TomTom GO 510 with 920.5241?

if your not 9.0XX navcore or higher; according compatibility table map 920.5241 does not support.

If you had referred to the 920 compatibility chart, as nene13462 did, you would have learned this.

Hi, I had looked at the chart but I couldn't work out. Could someone advise what is the correct version of maps that I require for my tomtom go510 device?

If you had referred to the 920 compatibility chart, you would know that maps are navcore specific, rather than device specific. Do you have any idea what navcore you have?
