A little newbie help please

Hi,

I have a TT XL. I just downloaded Benelux 970.7466_Installer.exe. I ran the exe and redirected it to the driveletter the tomtom has. Installation was succesfull but when i boot the TT it says "Problem with card: You cant use this card on this system: benelux-100772

Model is 4Et03.

What to do?

Start reading.

1) Make a backup of your Device and delete the content.

2) Unpack the* navcore (winrar ) and place folders and files on your Device Internal/SD Card.

3) Reset The Device (minimal 20 sec) and start it till the announcement "No map found"

4) which map is compatible with any NavCore.

If the box is green you can use the map with this navcore (if it is red not)

5) Be sure that you have the right map.
Is there a meta from the map you want to use.

No meta then you can not use the map.

Copie the chosen map to your Device (root internal/SD Card) in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the loose files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.

6) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your TomTom device root (internal or SD Card).

Run "FastActivate.exe".
     Select 2 and Done

Thanks for your reply! Trying the steps now but what do you mean with delete content? Wipe the root of the TT?

I completed all steps but now the touchscreen doesnt respond anymore.. I'm stuck when i try to press accept the terms.

I backed up to the original and now it works again. Trying the steps again.

Same problem. Touchscreen not working when I try to accept the terms. Any help?

Look in the new map folder for a .meta.dct file, to confirm that the map is actually patched.
If no .meta.dct file, put F/A.exe & a copy of your ttgo.bif file in the new map folder & run Option 2.
Disconnect & reboot.

Touchscreen fails to work after i install navcore (step3).

No, this is after i completed all steps you described.

In post 6 you said that it was not working and
I backed up to the original and now it works again.
I need to know wich navcore you have in your backup.

So till the message map not found.
After this message you place the map and aktivate.

After that i tried a few times again. All failing to get the touchscreen to respond. Atm the device has completed all steps again but the touchscreen still doesnt work atm.

If load the back up the touchscreen does work but then I cant use the map. Don't know if the map now does work since i can't use the touchscreen..

Edit: guess the map doesnt work either since i can control the device in TT home
