Map europe 910-4892 does not activate using Navcore 9.510.1-

THe MAP europe 910-4892 perfectly activates using Navcore 9.485 but when upgrading (using the cab file) to Navcore 9.510.1 it does not activate.
The TT indicates that the map cannot be used.

but !!...then the computervoice does not work anymore.
The other "non-computer voices" do work, but the computer voices themselves not.

I have downloaded my preffered computer voice and I extracted the .cab file into the LoquendoTTS root directory on my sd card.
The I did an overwrite in the LoquendoTTS root directory of the files :
libLoqTTS7.so
LTTS7AudioBoard.so
LoqaudioBoard.so

I can then in preferences select the computervoice but when clicking on the TEST button, it does not say anything.
The non-computervoice works and can be tested using the test button.

How comes that my computerized voice does not work ?

Navcore 9.510 is the current official navcore for your 730. Always let TT Home install a new official navcore, then patch it. Since a 730 uses the Loquendo voices, always use TT home to install or remove them.
Did you do a clean install of the 9.510 .cab or an overwrite installation? Do you make a backup of your setup, prior to installing 9.510?

I do not like to update via TTHome.
I prefer to download the latest version from this board.
And yes I did do an OVERWRITE.

But in the menatime, I copied over the LoquendoTTS directory and the voices directory ( from the original installation ) to my SD card and it works again.

But as I saw that there was a new version of the computer voice (v7 I think) I wanted to download and test this one. But it does not work.

But I thought there was a NEW version on those VOICES ? Like V7 ?
I'm not sure what's new there, but I had to copy over the old voices to my SD card to get it working again.

The only real difference betwen the V6 and V7 voices is the size.
They sound identical, but the V6 do not need to be decompressed by the system, so they are better for 32mb devices.
If you have working V6 voices you won't notice a difference to the V7 voices.

and in the meantime, I also replaced the battery of my TT730.
Bought a new bat in the USA and I replaced it...works fine.

1. Only if it is software that is not intended for my device.
2. LoquendoTTS Version 7 is the current official version for the X30 & up units. You should have no problem downloading any of them thru TT Home.
LoquendoTTS Version 6.5 is the current official version for the X20 units.
