No Map Found Tom Tom one

Thu Nov 14, 2013 1:55 pm

Hi guys just got a Tom Tom one from ebay. I put a newly formatting 1GB SD card in it and connected to Tom Tom Home and updated it. It is running the following. ttgo.bif:
DeviceName=TomTom Go
DeviceVersionHW=ONE
DeviceSerialNumber=G1xxxxxxxxxx
BootLoaderVersion=505
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=6560
ApplicationVersion=7914

Map(s):
E:\United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_915_5110\

Storage:
Size 975MB, Free 746MB

After the Tom Tom Home download I exited and installed the above map which i had found on the chart that showed it was compatiable with my Navcore. I then installed fastactivate.exe exactly the way Downunder suggested in his post "no map found". I ran options 1,2 & 3 in my root directory and it created a .dct file in the map folder. I rebooted the Tom Tom and it just says "no map found". When i patched the map it came up with no errors so i am at a lost to know what to do next???

Help Please

Minimum required navcore is 7.8XX!!

TT Home should give you an updated application version or NavCore.

If you are adventurous you should check out downunder's modded 9.510 updates and what good they can do for even your older device.

Sorry for the delay in replying, my laptop crashed last week and i have only got it running today. When I went onto TT Home it didn't update the Navcore, I will try again. When I went onto "Buy new Map" it suggested i buy a 915 map hence why i downloaded it. If it never going to work with my navcore, which version of maps would anyone suggest, and also can i get a speed camera update for my old TomTom

Cheers

1. Don't worry about using TT Home. We have plenty of the newer navcores that Downunder has modded to run on the older 32MB units.
2. 920 just came out. There isn't an usable one for your device available yet. Stick with 915 for now.
3. Yes. Speedcams work with any current map.
