Map That will work with my TT one 3rd edition 1GB

I feel so dumb asking this question, but I'm scratching my head for 3 days and I can't get it.

I have downloaded a "metric ton" of maps, but I can get a single one that will work with my device.

The map is either not activated because there is no Meta info or it is simply not recognized my my device.

Mine never is the latest for this tom-tom -> 8.016

I just want french map or even Europe (the most up to date possible)

Can you please help me guys?

Make an backup from the Device.
Delete everything on the Device intern

* Use 9.510 DSA 32MB ram.
[Please Register or Login to download file]
Download and unpack place Folders and Files on the One
--
1) Reset The Device (minimal 15 sec) and start it till the announcement "No map found"

2) Choose France 985_8158
maps-v9xx-f179/all-new-maps-985-t19579.html
--
3) Copie the chosen map to your Device in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the individual files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.

4) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your TomTom device root.

Run "FastActivate.exe".
Select 2
Select 3
Wait for the announcement navcore Patched.

There are only two France maps that have meta codes released: 985.8155 & 985.8158

But I think Holyhead meant France 985.8158
