Map v915.5074 Benelux problem after use TomTom Home map cor

Postby monstro900 » Wed Sep 25, 2013 8:21 pm

Hey All,

I have a TomTom One V3 with currently map 915.5074 Benelux. First downloading map corrections via TomTom Home worked perfect.
Now, a few days ago, I have problems after installing map corrections. The GPS works fine, but a few street names, and it it's very random, have changed into NewSisstreet. So the map does no longer show the name of certain streets, but NewSisstreet instead.
Navigation works fine.
Does anyone have a similar problem and can it be fixed ?
I use navcore 9.170, boot 5.5136 and never had any problems in the past.

kind regards,
Koen

TT Home, Tools, TomTom Map Share & Remove Corrections.

Or delete the next 4 files in the country folder on your device:

MapServerPatch.dat
PatchFilter.dat
ServerLineIndex.dat
ServerNameIndex.dat
.

This is a bit radical. Like cutting off an arm, because you have a broken fingernail!!

Hey tendriver,

thnx, but I had to search a little bit around because in dutch it is different.
Now, do you know what causes this problem and can it be fixed, besides deleting the map corrections.

kind regards.

1. What is different in Dutch?
2. No. You are the only member to ever report this issue.

In the dutch version of TT Home you can make the change in Extra (=Tools is English version). I couldn't find tools in my language.

OK, I understand. Thanx.
I do not give help by PM. It deprives our other members of a chance to learn. Please post your issue in the appropriate forum/thread. You will get an answer.
