Hello,
Just picked-up the last France map (4973), but when unpacking, the folder name is 4873. I decided to try anyway, and it's seems to activate with the code given in the thread. I then take a look in the "info" when running navcore, and it said : " Map : 'France_910 4873' v910.4973".
How do they set the release number? Can anyone confirm that this version is "younger" than the 4952? (Info version : "France_910 4952" v910.4952").

910 is the map version, so all 910 map are of the same "age".
The numbers you refer to have nothing to do with the "age" of a map.

If I may add a bit to Downunder's post, 910 is the Edition & 4952 or 4973 are versions of 910. There is no 4873 version.
