I had the same problem. There is now an updated version of FastActivate (23.5.2016). Big hug and thank you to the one who fixed it! Now everything works smoothly again.

I find it, it's not the fastactivate thread I mentioned.
There is one fastactivate thread in "tomtom tools" that is the old discussion and that is the thread I linked before.
AND
there is a new fastactivate thread in "general discussion about tomtom" with the instruction you wrote.
(however IMHO it's not the first section choice... I searched the fastactivate tool in the tool section, not in the general discussion... It is the same thread...for me was logical to go in the tool discussion and search there, so... I found the old instead of the new, that was in another place, and I have not paid much attention to the link attached for the new thread...).

There isn't a Central Europe meta code posted, Central Europe maps are not usable at this time.

To be clear: NOW there is NO meta for map Central_Europe_970_7466.
Europe_Central_970_7466 has got an available meta code.
In general there is no difference in the detail of coverage of a particular country if it is included. It's level of detail is always the same.

Central Europe is a "free standing" map.
The full featured Europe map has gotten so large, that TT created a 5 zone map setup for Europe. Europe Central is one of the zones, along with Europe North, South, East & West.

The nearly 500MB difference in size can be mainly attributed to France not being included in the Europe_Central map.
