hi there

resiliently i bought a tomtom one 4n00.004.2 2gbfrom my friend because after 2 weeks i will go back to my country from UK to Lithuania and when i bought from my friend tomtom, he told me that the maps are old and you will need to update them

but i am a bit stuck with two questions and doubts

the first is i got a navcore 7.903 i was trying to search in a forum is there any way for me to update it ????? or not

the second thing the navigation right now has western and central europe 2gb v850.2820 version and when i tried to search for the same but like 9xx version i could not find it no where

so what in my mind came in is that maybe i can add

Benelux_925_5409
United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_925_5409

this 3 maps and combine them when i will go from point A to point B or it will not work???
because previously before the navitotal website fail i remember i was able to find a tut where it was saying how to add more then one map if i was correct where as now i could not find it

is there any one could help me whit my questions

plus i chose those couple new 925 maps but most of them states
not usable yet! meta code! what does it mean ????? sorry for being so noob but i believe if you will not ask you will not learn

1. Yes you can update this unit.
2. There has not been a western and central Europe map in the last several Editions.
3. Changing maps as you motor along on your merry way will work, if you can find usable maps, & that the total size of them will fit into your 2GB memory.
4. Download Instructions: A map can't be activated until a meta code is posted with it !!!
Meta codes are posted as soon as we get them,

thank you for your answer i am really appreciate i manage to update my navcore to 9.061 and everything working fine i also download all those maps and eveything working fine but when i checked it like i chose from uk london go to lithuania vilnius it is not working is there anyway you can help me? because as i undestand the maps works onli in the country which you chose , but i need like western and central europe 2gb v850.2820 cos i will go from point a to point b wheres now i can go from London to Dover once i will go over the see i need to from hollanad to german border it doesnt work ]

Dear Kidicarus i updated my navcore all a ready to 9.061 and everything is working okey accept the maps

what if i put Europe_Central_930_5563 and United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_930_5563 will it work over the see in France?

plus i was thinking to add a 4 gb memory card but i red some where that it is not reading it unless you will update your bootloader and i have to use a normal card not hc am i right?

Obviously the UK map is fine for the UK
Yes, the Europe Central map will work and take you from France to the other side of Poland (see image below)

You will then need another map to get from Polish border to where you are going in Lithuania (Europe East?)

With navcore 9.061, you can use Europe 930.5604, which will cover anywhere that you want to go:

Yes, you will need a 4GB SDHC card for this map. Open your unit's ttgo.bif file with notepad. If your bootloader is 5.5012 or higher, it will read a SDHC card. If not, download:
[Please Register or Login to download file] . Copy this b/l to the root of your unit, overwriting the current file. Reboot. Now your unit should read a SDHC card.
A ONE won't work with a navcore on the internal memory & a map on a card, so also put your navcore on the card.
