im also newbie and need update my TT ONE with actual maps of west and central europe:

The countries you need are in Central_and_Eastern_Europe 985_8158
You can use that map it is not to big.

Make an backup from the Device.
Delete everything on the Device

* Use 9.510 DSA 32MB ram.
[Please Register or Login to download file]
Download and unpack place Folders and Files on the One

1) Reset The Device (minimal 15 sec) and start it till the announcement "No map found"

2) Central_and_Eastern_Europe 985_8158
maps-v9xx-f179/all-new-maps-985-t19579.html
--
3) Copie the chosen map to your Device SD Card in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the individual files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.

4) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your TomTom device root.

Run "FastActivate.exe".
Select 1
Select 2
Done

Thank you holyhead...DSA works fine, any problem, but i have problem with maps Central_and_Eastern_Europe 985_8158...part1 and 2 cant be downloaded, they are offline...can i use Central_and_Eastern_Europe 985_8159?

They are fine and not off line (I have tried)

THERE IS A PROBLEM REPORTING OFFLINE FILES. IF FILES APPEAR TO BE OFFLINE, THEY ARE NOT. JUST CLICK ON FILE TO DOWNLOAD

Central_and_Eastern_Europe 985_8159 can,t be used becourse there is no metacode availble/
