Hello everybody,
I'm having problems in activating the map Western_Europe 940.5963 on the Tomtom Go 630, i tried everything that i read here on how to make it work (I put the map folder on a clean SD, with ttgo.bif, meta.txt with the right code, and latest FA inside the same map folder), but always gives me that .dct error.
I patched the NC 9.510, updated meta file, patched tomtom home, but the patch to the map doesn't work. With the .dct error, it doesn't create the meta.dct file, so it's not activated and the tomtom gives that message "can't use this map...".
Please help me finding what's missing here, thank you!

Welcome to Navitotal!!
Open the unzipped FastActivate folder & open the Intergrated Meta.txt, that is in it. If the Western Europe 5963 meta is included, delete the meta.txt file, that you put in the 5963 map folder & run FastActivate Option 2 again.

Had the same problem just rename your <mapname>.meta file to the name in meta.txt. This is case sensitive

@dianneman
This workaround only works on one of those Retail-NAVIGON maps which are available on newsgroups.

This is not a good idea. The preferred solution is much simpler.
