Question

Postby zawa88 » Mon May 20, 2013 7:41 am

I have question.

What is the difference between Central_Europe_910_4892 and Europe_Central_910_4892?
It is the same size and the same countries, but two different maps and meta-codes.
I have been looking in the internet for an answer, but i can't find it.

I would say there are about 5 thread with that question on NT, every time a new map version comes out the same question is asked.
Since there are enough threads for the 910 maps already I don't really know why one would need a new thread for that question...
You already confirmed size and content is identical - how about you try to use the .meta of one map to activate the other? ;)

They are the same map, but with different applications. Central_Europe_910_4892 is a free standing map that has no relationship to any other map. Europe_Central_910_4892 is 1 of 5 interchangable "Zone Maps" (North, South, East, West & Central) to be used be devices, that don't have enuf memory to load the full Europe map, which has grown to 2+GB in size.
