I'm using the United Kingdom and ROI 990.8365_Installer to replace a out of the box western europe edition.

The NavCore is 8.011.

After install successfully, "The map cannot be used on this device"

I think I'm using the correct version according to the table/matrix.

Any help appreciated?

Use no.3 from FastAktivate and wait for the message Patched OK

I tried the manual FastActivate also but it said it is already patched.

And you have used the latest FA

Yep, I've re-ran it after updating the fastboot update.

Just to make sure I'm not missing anything obvious.

1. Update all updates using tom tom software
2. Delete Western Europe map from usb/drive/tomtom to allow space
3. run either fastactive or installer and all steps are successful

Success - I suspect it had patched NavCore with the attempt at doing the latest western europe map.

I restored my orignal backup with the UK-ROI map and is now working.
