I am not sure if I should open a separate topic, but...
I got a TomTom one xl HD Traffic. I got an (empty) slot for my SD card. If necessary, I could put in an SD card. Right now I am trying to update the map. However, it seems that NC 7.301 doesn't allow me to use the new maps (975_7748), though I patched it the correct way. That's why I need to update the NC. TT home doesn't give me a higher nc than 7.301.
I really like the ALG feature, but I thought that the device wouldn't be able to run NC 9.510. I tried it by downloading the .cab file and copied the files to the root of my empty TT. When I started, it freezed. So it seems like nc 9.510 is not suited for this model, or am I wrong?
Then I tried downloading the .cab nc 8.011. I placed the files on my TT. But I notice that the transfer speed is very low, while it was fast with the original nc (7.301). I learned that the reason may be the wrong bootloader. In the .cab file, there is a document which states that it includes bootloader version: 5.3030. Should I get another bootloader? Or do I need to install nc 8.010 instead (which may contain the right bootloader)?
