I have a TomTom One v4, it's an older device but it still works great. I just want the latest maps for it and up to date navcore.
TomTom Application for ONEv4
-version: 7.903
is that the latest?
maps: Western and central europe 2gb
-version: 845.2647
Can someone tell me please which maps I need and which navcore. Thank you.

Navcore 9.510There hasn't been a Western and central europe map for the last several editions. What is your next choice?

Yes, if you have 4GB of storage memory.

1. OK
2. Nav 9.510 is compatible with all maps, so look for a map that gives you the best coverage that you need, has a posted meta code & will fit in your 2GB storage.
3. No can do!!

Check tomtom home to see which map covers what area.
It should 'if you have your tomtom plugged in' also tell you the latest version that will work with your particular tomtom.
I would use fast activate to patch tomtom home before I use it.

Patching TT Home does nothing but allow you to use "Operate my device" if you have a patched navcore.

Hi again,
I still have my beautiful old TomTom One v4, it's still old but for me it's gold! But the roads are changing so fast, so I have to update it again. I just want the latest maps for it and up to date navcore. Should I stay on Nav 9.510?
TomTom Application for ONEv4
Nav 9.510

Stay with the 9510.

Ok thanks.
1) I will go for the Western Europe map, so this one is up to date and correct, right: Western Europe 1GB 975 7748
Or does it not have the META codes and I have to wait? If so, which one is the most up to date western europe and meta codes are available?
2) I have the tomtom Home app running, I have to remove the maps and then copy the new maps and thats all?

1. You can use that
2. Home App ?? Remove the old map and place the new one and aktivate with FastAktivate.

Yes, tomtom home app. I guess I don't need it and I could work with the file explorer itself.
I am downloading the western europe files as we speak and I already downloaded FastAktivate right now, but I hear a lot about meta codes are not available. Are the meta codes available for this one that I am downloading?
Edit: This is the meta code for mine right:
; Western_Europe_1GB 975_7748
3C 71 FD 22 94 D6 C5 A3 0E 7D 25 44 57 26 82 E2 Western_Europe_1GB-100877.meta
Why do we need META codes? Sorry for this dumb question!

The metacode you mentioned is already integrated in FastAktivate.
You only have to choise 9 (update FA) and after that 2
Done
