On TomTom XL after instalation map "Central and Eastern Europe 990 8306 Installer" I get message that sounds like this:

That's because there has been no meta code released for that map yet.

Only maps that have a meta code on this page can be activated

That map is very nearly 1.20GB in size...does your TT have that space available or does it have an SD card?

I have 2GB, so space is not problem.
In this moment Im tested Central and Eastern Europe 990 8316 with Automatic Installer & Patcher and I get same result:

it exist in the metacodelist

Download FastActivate from here

Extract FastActivate.exe to the root of your device and run it from there selecting options 2 then 3 (each time wait for successful message)

Disconnect & reboot it...now what's the result?

I had the same problem, but that last post (download and use FastActivate) was really helpfull. It works a treat now.
So thanks a lot.

I'm tested these maps:

Central and Eastern Europe 990 8306
Central and Eastern Europe 990 8306 with Automatic Installer & Patcher
Central and Eastern Europe 990 8316 with Automatic Installer & Patcher
Europe East 990 8306

...and still same problem:

Is not possible use this map on this device...

I'm using FastActivate, but not results.

You need to concentrate on one map that already has a meta code released so we can troubleshoot the problem

1. Copy the Europe_East_990_8306 folder (with all of the files inside) to your TT...don't rename it or anything, just the extracted folder as it comes from the archive
2. Download FastActivate 06-06-2017
3. Extract FastActivate.exe to your TomTom and run it from that location selecting options 2 & 3 (wait for a successful message after each option)
4. Disconnect & test

It should be working if you've followed these steps exactly...if not, you may have a fault in your navcore.
If that is the case, run FastActivate again but this time select option 7, a window will appear containing your devices info....copy that here so we can read it.

I'm make a format device, install a new navcore and maps working (Central and Eastern Europe 990 8316 with Automatic Installer & Patcher). Probably it was a some navcore problem.
