tomtom via US maps

Hallo,
ik heb een oude tomtom via die ik zou willen gebruiken op mijn roadtrip door amerika (zo'n toestel huren kost daar 50€ :-( )
Ik kan het aansluiten met mydriveconnect, maar dan kan ik in windows explorer mijn device nog niet zien.

Kan iemand mij aub stap voor stap zeggen hoe ik recente US maps op deze tomtom via krijg?
Of me evt linken naar een tutorial?
