i currently run the truck maps with the truck navcore on tomtom go720/730 sat navs
what i want to know is the current latest tomtom devices do they run the truck maps? is it just as easy to install on these devices?

its just if the 720/730s die on me im a bit stuck!

Not possible you have to buy the truckversion from TomTom. The good thing is that all the new devices has free live time maps.

ouch the truck ones arnt cheap!

Hi mate, Do not worry these older satnavs like 720/730 will last agess and are better build that new models in my opinion. If it happens one day that it will die buy older 520/720/920 these can run truck software and you are sorted :-) Only issue could be battery but it is easily replacable and cheap to buy, but if you run it from charger all the times it is not problem....
