How much usable storage does this map require?
I'm wondering if it is too big now for XXL540

You can check map sizes in the TT map shop...
But I suspect it to be more than 2GB in size.

TT says it is still under 2GB (1,992.38) and still offers it for purchase when I select XXL/530S/540S but it is larger than XXL total useable storage of 1.84 GB (only 1.79 GB for map). TT says USA_Canada is 1755.66 MB but I downloaded USA_Canada_955_6746 and it extracts to 1.99 GB.
I've installed USA_Canada_1GB which is 997 MB.
What does the 1GB version not give me?

Features being Cspeech/ASR, IQRoutes, ALG, HNR? Any others?
I managed to take the USA_Canada_955_6746 and remove the cspeech files and it just barely fits...72.9 MB free.
Next update probably won't fit...
