The DD POIs are there, & your TT can navigate to DD with no problem, using "Navigate to" or "A-B Prepare route".

I tried again.
I won't find any DD...
I have Mac Donald, Burger king, walmart and many other...
But no DD ; or they are not recorded as "dunk..." or "...donut."
Even while navigate to POI, or A-B preparing route...

Nevermind, it doesn"t matter !

Thank you again for all your help !

Oh !

I just discovered the DD poi was installed in the Western Europ directory...
I think that may be why it can't find them.
Where/how should I have the three DD files ?

Thank

Edit : I already tried to copy it in the map directory and in the POi directory.

ALL POI files always go in the map folder currently in use!! USA POIs go in the USA map folder, French POIs go in the map folder that you use for France.

1. "The DD POIs are there, & your TT can navigate to DD with no problem, using "Navigate to" or "A-B Prepare route".
2. You are aware that Dunkin' donuts is already included in the POIs that are an integral part of the Navcore!?!? Open the "brand" folder in the map folder & look at icon 7315_2.bmp. The correct spelling is Dunkin' donuts.

Well...
Yes, I have the icon 7315_2.bmp. It's the DD icon.
Is it possible that when I tried to install DD POIs from Tom tom Home, it desinstalled it from the Navcore ?
So I can't find them while navigating (even with correct spelling).

1. That is correct.
2. NO!
3. Please post step by step exactly how you are trying to find them while navigating.

Hi again !
Thank you for taking care of that.
The fact is, my tomtom is in french, so I'm not sure about the correct transalation, but here is what I do :
1- Go to
2- Poi
3- Poi in the city
4-Los Angeles
5-look for a poi
6- Here, I'm invited to write the name or a part of a name.
I tried "Dunkin" ; "donut" ; "donuts" ; "don"(that one will show me all Mc Donald for exemple...)

While doing part 6, I have many restaurants with the word "donuts" in them that will show up.

You have the same spelling error in part 6, that I pointed out to you in point 2 of post 22. The correct spelling is: Dunkin'(the red mark is an apostrophe) Donuts.

It's not a spelling error at all.
I really have read and understood the whole post 22, even the point 2.
As I said in the part 6, my tomtom invite me to enter a part of the name so as MacDonald appear when I type "don" Dunkin'Donuts should appear.
As I said in the part 6, with the words "donut", "Donuts", "Donut", "donuts" I have a long list of restaurants with the word "donut" in their name and selling donuts that show up.
By the way, I have already tried a thousand times "Dunkin' Donuts" with no answer from the tomtom

Go to: [Please Register or Login to download file] . Enter Los Angeles, CA (50miles/80km) & tell me how many locations are found.

Wtf... they just don't have any dunkin'donuts in California !!?!?!
I had tried san Diego, san Francisco and Los Angeles. ..

It wasn't a spelling error but a location error. I feel like I have wasted a lot of your time for nothing. When I checked Las Vegas, I found one quickly.
So sorry for this.
