Hello,
I have a TomTom XL 2gb with 32mb ram and navcore 8.562SE and europe_south 885_4009 at the moment.
I put all that on my TomTom 2 years ago but i forgot how i did it and now i need to update the map.
And activate it with an activator.
Do i need a new Navcore version aswell? This navcore is not the fastest and it only had 3 mb ram free.
Greetings Merlijn
Edit: This is probably not the best section to post this.

Correct, not the best section...
Check my Navcores for the 9.485 and follow the instructions within the posting.
For new maps check the 910 map thread and follow the instructions provided there.

It is working, thanks but i have a problem. When we are driving and we stop at a petrol station or something the tomtom quickly recalculates the route because it detected we are not on the path. But when it finishes recalculating it hangs for 20 seconds and crashes. And because we are still driving it needs to recalculate again and crashes again it only works if we are on a full stop and the tomtom only needs to see where we are on the good path.

What emulation are you using and is the skin chooser on the last page of the menu visible?

Thanks for the response, i just changed it from SE to XL and i am going to try using it in a couple hours and see if it will crash.
Btw, what emulation is the best for this tomtom? I tried the x40 but it goes into a bootloop so i think normal xl is the best?

The XL models are always trouble and finding an Emu that works on one XL does not mean it will on another.
You can check all emus that work and select the one that works best for you.
Once you found what works you can edit the reskin file manually so only the working emulations are in there.

Thanks, I am now using the XL emu and the problem with the crashing is gone.
