Finally I got the ISO file containing 9 files inside. Burnt in a DVD+R using Nero 7, when verifying the DVD, it shows those 9 files. When tried to update the navigator maps with the engine of my car (CLS) running and NAV button in ON position, nothing happens...
Questions: 1- Should I use the button in OFF position? 2- How much time does maps updating require? My CLS model was made on 2006. This is the first time to try updating.

I first had to upgrade firmware and then record and navigate

If you are using the 2006 version of DVD than just go ahead and insert the new DVD, if you have an older version, than you must update firmware first.

Hello and sorry for my english. I am a new member, I have just bought a mercedes Class E SW211 2008 and my nav disk is Vers 7 EUROPE green. Just I wanted to know if i can run vers 14 withouth a firmware update. I call mercedes france, they purpose an update for 160 euros. rigth or wrong ? thanks for your answers
