You have to make a folder called Primo2 on the SD card. In the folder Primo2 you place all te files and folders. Keep Primo2.exe and it should work.

Take a empty SD card. Make a folder with the name Primo2.
In the folder you place the primo files and folders and the exe file is renamed to primo2.exe
Make a printscreen with content of the primo2 folder must be somethink like this.
And you use the file chas521 from post 27 without changes ?

@ l'ambulant

Try using this Primo program instead of the one you now have.

That you will have to do on your own. By the way that program is TTS capable if you can find a voice for it. Perhaps there is a member here that can upload it for you.

[quote="chas521";p=151716]I see where the problem is. A good part of it is my bad [fault]. This should straighten it out. Download this and follow post #19.

I just picked up a c520, (had one years ago). Finally stumbled onto this helpful site in the quest to update maps on the device. Chas521, I followed your instructions and it worked flawlessly on my 520. I admittedly am a newb with this stuff and now that my 520 is unlocked, can you offer any assistance on how to load my newly unlocked device with current U.S. maps. I've searched the forum but can't seem to find any answers.

I suggest that you post in the Igo map thread.

Hello,

I've found my old C320 unit that was sleeping in a drawer.
After spending a little time over navitotal, I feel I must try to unlock it. I've been reading many posts here to explain how to do, but it seems all the links to download the unlock files are dead. :bs_quesexclaim:

Anybody could tell me where those files might be available ?

Thx

Delete everything from your internal disk on the C device. Do the download of the unlock and just copy all the files/folders in the download [just as they are] to the internal disk. Copy the program to your SD card. Add contents [maps and such].

To use the unlock, press the Miomap button when the device starts and it will switch to the unlock.

I've been told that this unlock works with MOOV and Spirits. BUT I've never tried it [I have a MIO C320] so proceed at your own risk. Please post your results.

EDIT: If having trouble just re-name main folder and .exe to Primo2.
