That is the usb connection screen, thus means the device can't find either appstartupsec.exe, or the app referenced to in the ini file.

DON'T REPLACE THIS FILE WITH ANOTHER EXE FILE!

Explain what you did to update the maps..

On disconnecting the USB, the device should reboot back to normal.

Did you try moving the switch to reset for a few seconds?
If that doesn't work, does the device actually connect to the computer and allow you to browse it's files?

Your device is missing quite a few folders.

Do you have the disks that came with the device?

You should be able to download the mio more software from the mio site, if you want the original software back you'll have to do it the official way as it's not been cracked. The software should restore the device.

If for some reason this is not possible, and you don't care for the original software, we can sort out alternative software.

However these mio's can be bricked really easily, so if you can't restore it to factory settings, post back for further instructions before attempting anything else.

Well it doesn't really matter for original soft or alternative, which one works better,or at least restore it before the usb block screen.

@Gunerus

I've been told that this unlock worked with a MOOV device as long as you can see the device on your computer. You might want to try it but back up your files/folders first. Then delete all on your internal and copy all the files/folders from the download to your internal.

If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

1, Download this 50MB'ish archive...

[Please Register or Login to download file]
It is a backup minus the maps of my Mio M400.

2, Connect your device.
3, Delete everything from your device.
4, Copy the contents of the archive to your device, make sure you have more than one folder in the root of the device, ie not just one folder!
5, Disconnect your device, Your device will reboot and attempt to load the SmartST navigation software.

This will fail with a license error!
Now your device is at a state where it can be unlocked to run other software. you have two main choices, iGO Primo 2 (the recommended option), Tomtom Navigator, or even both. (space permitting)

http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?8018-Run-Tomtom-on-Mio-Moov-and-Navman-S-series-(and-some-F-series)-in-ten-steps

6, Be sure to follow the procedures exactly as described!
If you are not sure, or something isn't working as described, ASK!
