Mio Spirit 680 , how to get New Zealand map on

Hi,
I was about to throw out my mio when I came across this website.
I bought and used a Mio Spirit 680 last year in Europe and I brought it back to New Zealand expecting to be able to download a nz map from mio website but it says maps for this type ( 680) are not available.
Has anyone got suggestions as what I can do about it?

You can unlock it and run other software which has a New Zealand map available...
