Postby hezyse » Mon Jul 30, 2012 7:50 pm

I tried to unlock the device with a procedure I found on other forum.
I even copied all the flash to a backup file.
I turned off the device and turned it on and the device come up with a usb sign and a device icon and computer icon.
I deleted again all the files and returned the files I backed up before.
then again I turned the device off and on and I got the same results.

please help.

many thanks.

First of all, don't go to other forums. Stay ONLY here because I also have a Mio C320 that is functioning 100%. See my signature. You'll only have problems going to other forums. Sounds like you already did!

Now, do you get the ability to see what's in the internal C320 drive when you plug it into your computer? What appears for the SD card?
If it ain't broke don't fix it!

YES! You should have 4GB SDHC card. Please answer my above questions.

well I currently have 2GB SD card which I inserted
when I turn on the device I can see 2 drives the flash and removable disk.
the flash has the original files before I tried something and the removable disk which I guess is the SD card is empty because I just plugged it in.

Do what I tell you. First, make sure that you have complete back up of the Mio internal flash drive. Next, go to this link http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?3290-My-3.3-internal-Flash-drive-with-the-Mio-unlock-already-contained and download it and copy it completely to your empty internal drive..

Absolutely. I said that in an above post. The files in my download are the files that the Mio needs to start and also contains the unlock. The ONLY files on your C320 should be the ones in my download.

Sorry I had to run-off but it was dinnertime here.

The unlock [my 3.3 download] was the only thing to go on the Mio's internal flash drive. The program files now go only onto the SD card. IGO is the name of the program[s] not the individual program itself. The unlock that you downloaded can be for multiple programs but for certain versions only. Here's the links. IGO8 http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?6880-Igo8-March-5-2011 Primo 1.1 http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?5500-November-Primo-1.1-from-my-device Add the contents and you should be good to go.

After you've copied everything, completely shut down your device, wait a few seconds and then re-start.
