Hi All,
I'm having a spot of bother:doh:.
I can only use iGO from Start/FileManCE.
When i navigate to Program Files/Unlock/Desktop i can see; Autorun.lnk, Smart ST, Primo2exe-shortcut.
On the desktop itself the SmartST shortcut has moved two places down as if two new shortcuts have been added, but i can't see them.
TIA

Can you run igo from the shortcuts within the folder?

Double check the character count within the shortcut

No i cannot.
I keep getting ''Fatal application error'' plus a 'dong', then i have to restart it.
I really do appreciate your help, after spending 40 GBP on ''New'' maps the device tried to direct me wrongly through a new one way system completed over twelve months ago!

Hi,
You were correct regarding the character count, i'd not included the ''34#'' :doh:
I now have the iGO shortcut on the desktop and its workin BUT,
the power button is not.
I'm confused about this;

Then add the command to start PowerButton.exe into the Autorun.mscr script

Run (SystemPath("ScriptPath")\"PowerButton.exe")

Where do i type it?

I've already entered the 1058=off in correct place. {ini}

TIA.

On your device in the unlock folder is a file called Autorun.mscr, Open this with NotePad on your PC and add the line above.

I followed the guide and all went well but for getting a GPS signal.
I have a Moov 370 and all worked well (iGo primo works) but the "GPS cannot be found". (I left it outside for quite some time :))

I also tried Miopocket 4 with the same results. All works well but the GPS cannot be found. Anybody had this problem?
Thanks!!!

You may need to add the port and baud to your sys.txt

[gps]
port=1
baud=4800

you will need to change the settings to suit your gps.

Thanks but the original sys.txt had those settings.
Port=2
Now I tried Port=1 with no success.
Any idea how could I know which port?

Are you talking this http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?8650-i-need-%28gps.exe%29-for-check-my-gps-and-com.please-give-download-link-tq-so-much.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

Failing that find a copy of iGO8 and it can scan the port and baud for you.
