I can't for the life of me manage to find a download for iGO8 - I've lost hours working on it!

Cheers for this, just go tomtom on mio navman S505. To create the tomtom short cut on desktop i done this. In My Flash Disk\Navigator i created a shortcut of the Tomtom Navigator.exe. I then moved the tomtom shortcut to Program Files\Unlock\Desktop and all was good.

Hi Fatboyfun,

Great guide. I am attempting this method on my S35. However...

Fatboyfun wrote:Navigate to Tomtom Navigator.exe and run it

I get to this bit and receive an error message "TomTom Navigator is not a valid Windows CE application"

This is the navigator I D/L from the first post. Any ideas?

Hi
I'm new to the forum and don't have any experience tinkering with satnavs. I'm just bought a 2nd hand Mio Navman s500HF. Will this unlock work on it and allow me to install TomTom maps, also if I make a mess of it will I will able to restore it to the Mio maps

TT is not recommended for WinCE devices. You might be better off with iGO8 or Primo. Where do you call home? Also, do you have a link to the specifications of your GPS device?
If it ain't broke don't fix it!

I think this is a Spirit device, These are WinCE6 so Tomtom won't work, iGO Primo does though but you may need to use dalaniks visual unlock...

I've been looking at the visual unlock which seems like a good option. Here's the link to my device
[Please Register or Login to download file]
and home is Doncaster. If Igo Primo is going to be the way forward are there any working links to download it, all the ones I've checked are dead

Regardless 5 or 6, TT is not recommended for WinCE! Doncaster is where?

I posed the question re TT on WinCE 5 as I've seen it as one of the recommended options for 5 on this forum and Doncaster is in England.
