LOL.... I am glad you found me again. I am also glad to see you are still flying. That c520 looks nice up in the cockpit. I was working on another unlock for the h610 (was just doing it for myself), but it turns out that Primo isn't h610 ready as of yet.... the resolution doesn't work. When or if a 240x320 version of Primo comes out, I will share the unlock with you, if primo is something you are interested in adding to your h610.

It's been so long since we talked, there have been a lot of newer versions of igo8 available. Have you tried any of them on your h610?

Yes, too many that is true, but I cannot help it, I love the Mio's. To tell you the truth, I have 2 H610's. This is such a nice little device, and so capable. Actually, because of its smaller screen and much less pixels that have do be addressed, on a demanding software like the one I use in the plane, the moving map is twice as fast as the Mio C520/C320.

Yes, I use Igo8 on the H610. Actually, I do not use any other navigation program on it any more. You had kindly helped me install it with working voices, 3D etc...
The version I use without any problem at this point is 8.3.2.96054

And please stop teasing, sure I would love giving a second youth to those great devices using Primo :-)

I wanted to thank you too. I've been using the simple unlock for my twin c320's and one I gave as a gift to my brother. I learned the scripting language and have modified it as needed. I'm still using the old .cab unlock on my c310x, so someday I'll join the modern era on that one, perhaps when there is a Primo 320x240 skin available.

I'd upload my Icon for primo based on your blank template, but it won't let me stick the attachments.

I loved PolNav for a while, but it's maps are outdated and iGo does so much more.

Xtyler92 I have been a fun of your unlocks since GPSU and I have used it on my now stolen MIO. I currently have a 2 DIN Chinese device in my Ford and read your post on developing a unlock which could be used for that. Are there any developments on that?

For these 7" GPS radios you usually don't need an unlock.
A simple menu that starts instead of the GPS software should be enough to get additional programs running, I've done that for my noname china GPS too.
The main problem with these devices is that a normal "unlock" is almost usless in my opinion :
Most functions for the device are controlled by the installed software for that device and let's say getting into the BT settings from the Windows desktop is almost impossible because most devices I've seen so far have no seperate programs for these functions and you have to use the original software for it.
To overcome that problem I designed the menu in a way that I can exit it to got back to the original menu. I start my handsfree and start my menu again.
Videoplayer and ebook reader are installed with the menu and so I'm fine without any unlock or hack.

About the simple unlock (with Primo) posted above. I had destinator 9 installed on my card under sdcard/destinator and the MIO C320 can't seem to start it up. Where does the destinator 9 shortcut/link point to? I can start up destinator 8 without problems.

Honestly, D8 is better than D9 so you're not missing anything.

true true. Good thing about destinator 9 is that it works on my C220 with (OLD Xtyler C220 unlock). And that gave me TTS on a less than 64Mb memory. Which is a feat in itself. Anyways, the graphics on the version 9 is horribly amateurish.

OH well, I just wanted it for sake of completeness. Perhaps the Unlock Shortcut for Destinator 9 is broken for some reason.

Download this file: [Please Register or Login to download file]
Go to launchpad\main\both iGO ini files and where it says width=480 change to 320 and height=272 change to 240. Don't forget to save the file before exiting.

EDIT: It's possible that you might have to go to all the ini files and change the numbers.
