Confirmed to work on my Mio C510 after few modifications (renaming [color=#FF0000]c710Auto.exe[/color] and [color=#FF0000]c710Auto.mscr[/color] to [color=#0000FF]c510Auto.exe[/color] and [color=#0000FF]c510Auto.mscr[/color] and replacing [color=#FF0000]c710Auto.exe[/color] with [color=#0000FF]c510Auto.exe[/color] in [color="#008000"]c510Auto.mscr[/color] at the line beginning with [color="#008000"]RegWriteString[/color]).

Sorry for the misunderstanding, the Mio C710 has still got the original MioMap 3.x (it is 3.2 or 3.3) in the ROM.
I have found on TPB a torrent [Please Register or Login to download file] a iGO8 version. It is the exact same version as here above, but the TOMTOM part has been removed. With simple instructions, put everything on a SD and "BOOT" from SD. It works good.

But I would like to go a step further

What I would like to do is to have the CORE on the ROM and all the MAPS and POIs on SD. If possible. Updating MAPS would be easier.

Also the Torrent misses the TomTom part... GRMMBBLL

the first thing you need to do is to back up your internal files/folders to your computer, just in case. fyi, the link i gave you is an unlock for miomap 3.3 that lets you use other navs on your device. but if the other works, then fine. if i understand you correctly, you want to put the igo nav on your device in place of miomap. if so, you don't need an unlock at all. simply put the igo program on your device and re-name the .exe to miomap.exe [i think it is]. rename the old miomap.exe to miomapold.exe or something like that. the program should search for maps wherever they are. also, we don't know what that other program download is even though it might look the same as ours so we can't support what isn't ours. i hope you understand.

Ok I have found on the Internet the Mio Transfer Hack... Nice....

But now a second problem rises.... Somewhere stored very far away in a box I have de Mio DVDs... And on this laptop I have no original MIO programs installed (neither the Digiwalker nor MioMap Updater)
Because when I start the MioTransferHack.exe is searches for the MUT.dll is that a part from the MIO programs or is it a part for ActiveSync?

To unlock you have to copy everything on the sd

did you read my post #7? the unlock is in the first post not 5.
