No turn by turn problem on a Mio Spirit 685

Chas521 - Also, just to clarify I don't have the original installation disc so I am downloading the first link's files.

Downloaded and installed the files you sent for me. I now have an apparently working install tha reports 2.4 v9.6.13.267029 - I copied all my maps and building, phoneme, EXTENDED POI and poi.

Not sure my speedcams are there - the file I had was called 'United_Kingdom_HERE_2017.Q4_180122.spc' but I notice that speedcams seem to generally be *.txt files ?

Voice direction works using a 'Natural Voice' onlt on the demo.

Thank you very much for all of that. Your thought on the speedcams would be welcome as well.

FYI - I did have to rename the Primo2 folder and the Pimo2.exe file to 'Primo'.

You do not owe me any apology. I gave the link to you. FYI, Zervdim did apologize some years ago and all is well now. Did you apply the TTS link I gave much earlier to my program? Post just the names of the files/folders in the program's root and what files you have in content/voice. I don't need to see everything like you did before. TTS will work with my program.

For UK, you want the Tomtom for Igo maps not HERE. Same for POIS.

To update the speedcams in your GPS, delete the files speedcam.spdb and SpeedcamUpdates.spud and copy the new *.txt or *.spc file to the */content/speedcam directory and restart iGO. The file will automatically update the database and iGO will generate new speedcam.spdb and SpeedcamUpdates.spud files in the speedcam directory.

Hi Chas521, Thanks very much for the last set of files (the Primo 2.4 set), which is now working and the speedcams appear where I expect them. Thats great.

Regarding TTS - I don't think I need to do this as the Normal Voices are working and provide the 'Turn Right in...' etc type instructions which is all I need.

Regarding Maps - where do I find the TomTom for iGo Maps for the UK ? Any help with that would be great.

I definitely know that you would enjoy TTS better than just the Natural voice. As for the maps, do a search in the iGO section.
