Over the years, our good friend Xtyler92 has created many unlocks. Most of them can be adapted to your device. You just have to ask how. Earlier Mio models cannot be seen by your computer so I'm adding a Mio Transfer hack that should help with that.

I have a problem with a MIO C220 device.(WinCE Core 5.0)
I can not access any of the files from the device. the computer does not recognize the hardware.
What I want to do is rename the application (MioMap.exe) => Simple Launcher so I can run IGO8 from SD card.
Please re-upload the file the link is dead.


my hardware configuration:
windows 7 sp1
Windows XP sp3
windows vista sp2 install on windows 7 in virtual box

just bought a mio moov 200 (n177), and tried to install igo8. untill now without success, and a lot of links are not valid anymore.
is there anybody that can help? thanks in advance

one of the approaches that i followed without success:
erased the internal storage
copied all the igo8 files in the program files folder
editted appstartupsec.ini

put all the files in the program files folder

Restore your device back to factory and Google for the mio_moov.zip unlock.

Don't play around with appstartupsec.exe/.ini unless you know EXACTLY what you're doing.
