ive had my tomtom one XL with usa and canada maps on it running fine my brother gave me the sat nav, i live in the uk downloaded the uk and ireland maps, i used fast activate to run uk map. my dads used the satnav recently dosnt know what he did but when you switch it on it just says no maps found.

I have the USA and the UK maps on the sd card that was running ok, occasionally id have to hard reset the device with the sd card removed as it would freeze.

what version map should i use, im using the latest fast activate, are there any other files i need to download or copy to device sd card what about a patched navcore/

Did you check the map chart?
Did you read any of our tutorials or the instructions provided in the map thread or for FastActivate?

quick question, what do i need to look for with my tomtom one XL satnav to install a map, ive downloaded one uk and ireland 945.6256, ive ran the latest fast activate. everytime i start device it goes through the first setup pic language etc then says no maps.

United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_905_4754 was the one that was working properly, it just does not anymore

1. There is no need to open a new thread.
2. Your Navcore version is 8.010.
3. No maps found means the map is either totally incomplete or locatated in the wrong spot.
4. You are reading the chart wrong. If a Navcore version number is not listed go for the next lower number.
