Go 700 Navcore

Postby Wildey1771 » Sun May 11, 2014 5:01 pm

Hi
So, I Have A Go 700 Right Here And The Standard Navcore Doesnt Support The Newer Maps, What Is Currently The Best Navcore I Can Put On This To Have Latest Maps And Still Be Able To Use The Device's Full Features Such As Bluetooth?

Thanks

You didn't say what navcore you're using on your device?

There is always a map for whatever navcore you've got, so you need to look at the map compatibility chart [Please Register or Login to download file] to work out which one you need for your device. Being as I don't know what NC you've got, I'd recommend a 925.5439 map as it'll work with all NC's from 7.8xx onwards.

DeviceName=TomTom Go
DeviceVersionHW=GO 700
DeviceSerialNumber=M5xxxxxxxxxx
BootLoaderVersion=552
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=6520
ApplicationVersion=7690

Pulled That From "FastActivate". The Navcore Currently On There Is The Official And Latest One From TTHome That It Puts On The Device.

Thanks For That, Im Currently Testing Another Navcore.

UPDATE: The Testing Failed As It Just Reboots In A Loop.

Basically, I Want A Navcore Preferably Version 9 So I Can Use IQ Routes And Few Other Things. What Would Be A Good Core To Try/Use?

It is a well known fact that this is not uncommon for the first several log-ins after a major update. Which version did you use?

He's asking which one of the following versions did you choose from the installer:

Included in the installer are the following versions:
1. just the patched CAB - for all of you that just want the new Navcore on a compatible device - no emulations offered!
2. for GO models with 64mb of Ram - all GO emulations included
3. for 32mb devices - can't promise the memory boost will work as expected since TT used a new kernel
4. Hard wired sound, for all models that have trouble getting sound out of the TTS voices

Currently, My Go700 Is Without Any Navcores, From Hours Of Searching Myself I Cannot Find A Working Core That Will Run On This Device Allowing Use Of 925 Maps. That Is Where I'm Currently At, Just A Working Core (IQ Preferred) For 925 Maps Would Be Fine, Ideas?
