Best navcore for TT OneXL (v9)?

How can I get the 9.205 Navicore and Map pack 870.3419 to get my voices back? I have a TT XL325SE. I had the voices working fine until I updated to the latest map.

Do I need to just wait for a new map to come out or is there I fix for this combination?

If you did a "clean" install, there are no voices in the 9.205 download. Copy your voices folder from the backup of your old setup over to your new 9.205 setup.

I had the navicore for over a year.... I updated the map from one from a year ago. When I put the new map on the voices stopped working.

There is no relation between installed maps and the voices you use.
I suggest to use your backup or do a clean install to make sure all is working as it should.

I just did a totaly clean install of the 9.205 navicore with a 875 map pack. I patched everything properly and the voices still don't work.

As I posted earlier, the voices did work on the 860 map pack. Is there a fix for this issue?

PS. I modded a XL 330 SE.

As I said earlier : there is no relation between the map and the voices.
I suggest you use you working backup and only add the new map and activate the map.

The stock 8.412 Navicore and 875 map pack works together with the voices. Stock 9.205 does not recognize the 875 being valid (so I could not verify the voices). The patched 9.205 does work with the 875 map pack but it does not have voices.

I don't want to "downgrade" to 8.412 because some of the features of 9.205 I really like. I don't want to "downgrade" to 860 map pack because of the road updates. There is a compatibility issue with the patched navicore and the voices not working.

Any help is appreciated

Please try the following (if you use the LoquendoTTS folder on your device!!) .
Install the 9.205 and replace the whole LoquendoTTS folder with the one from the backup.
The library files used are also responsible for the normal voices, if that still does not do the trick I will try to find a sound patch.

No dice. Have you had any luck finding a sound patch yet DU?

I know that the patched 9.205 does have working voice drivers b/c it worked with an 860 map pack fine. When I put the 870 map pack on is when I started to have issues with the voices nor Tom not working properly.

1. A non patched navcore will never recognize a patched map. A patched navcore will never recognize a non patched map.
2. What versions of the 860, 870 & 875 maps are you using?

The configure.txt is set up to Emulate a GO 940 LIVE. The actual device is a 330 XL

everything else on the tomtom works except for the voice navigation.
