I have the exact same hardware and info inside the ttgo.bif file as the original poster. I'll give this a shot.
Will be trying the navcore you suggest with maps USA and Canada 860.3128. Is that the appropriate pack (or does it even matter)?

edit: I was able to boot into this one (came up as Russian language warning screen), but after I patched the map, it no longer went past the boot screen.

I'll be giving this one a shot now.
edit2: Same exact thing occurs!

Well, after all said and done, I ended up keeping the original 8.083 navcore and copied over the 855 maps.

Perhaps my 860 maps files were a bad download. However, I never tried recopying them to the TomTom. Perhaps that's why the 9.026 and 9.025 navcores kept failing.

I'm done trying though. 855 maps are good enough.

If you upgrade to navcore 8.2XX or above, you can use a full featured 860.3101 map, instead of that no featured 3128.

Very true; I did not either. 3101 is 1.5gb and would not fit on our devices.

Well I have 9.205 navcore working great now, thanks. I think my issue before was after I installed it then I patched everything. This time I just installed the navcore and then booted up and all was good. Oh I had to add the ttgo.bak but thats it

Apparently not, I got my info from the ttgo.bif, but my tomtom doesn't look like that pic. I have the xl330s. Should I be looking at a different Navcore if this is the case? Im thinking so as I only have 1.8mb free ram and it runs kinda slow...I think ill try the 9.051 thats RAM friendly.

To fix version error.
Open the ttgo.bif file with Notepad.
Replace lines 9 & 10 with these:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8010
ApplicationVersion=9369
"Save as" ttgo.bak
Disconnect & reboot.
