Before you start read carefully
How to read the chart.
http://www.navitotal.com/viewtopic.php?f=80&t=19485You can give the next procedure a try.
*) Recommended Navcore 9.541 device
[Please Register or Login to download file] --
1) Make a backup of your Device and delete the content.
--
2) Unpack the* navcore (winrar ) and place folders and files on your Device.
--
3) Reset The Device (minimal 15 sec) and start it till the announcement "No map found"
--
4) Copie the selected map to your Device in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the individual files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.
(plain map no speedcams,poi,etc)
--
5) Download FastActivate.
http://www.navitotal.com/viewtopic.php?f=127&t=19452 (Mirror)
Run "FastActivate.exe"
Select 1
Select 2
Done.
6) Give a 15 sec reset and start the device if everything works fine
just then you can ad speedcams etc to the map
We like to hear the result Good or Bad.
And keep away from TomTom Home.

Hello
I have a old TomTom Go 510, manufactured in 2006-2007 I believe (map version v660.1219). The closest to my device I can find here is TomTom Go 520. Would this be the right Navcore for my device - 9.541.1-2042-CAB-navcore-GO.cab?
Many Thanks
Steve

This is the latest official navcore for your Go 510 that can be used with a new & up to date map:
[Please Register or Login to download file] However, you should read the following as it will permanently fix problems with the clock and getting a satfix you probably have at the moment:
tutorials/wnro-ultimate-solution-for-x10-x20-x30-7000-t21440.htmlOnce you have completed all of the above, you can back it up and experiment with 9.541 if you wish.

I installed the program on my Rider2 device. It works fine, but unfortunately it doesn't connect to my phone via Bluetooth. What could be the problem?

Hi everyone !
I spent a lot of time trying different navcores with no success. The device boots up, finds the maps but when I click on the center of the screen to define a destination, the GPS hangs and reboots.
Here's my ttgo.bif:
ttgo.bif:
DeviceName=TomTom XL
DeviceVersionHW=ONE XL (v9)
DeviceSerialNumber=RCxxxxxxxxxx
BootLoaderVersion=55274
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9421
ApplicationVersion=862279.99
CurrentMap=Europe_West_1GB_1080_11145
CurrentMapVersion=1080.11145
Map(s):
E:\Europe_West_1GB_1080_11145\
E:\Europe_Central_1GB_1085_11311\
Storage:
Size 1957MB, Free 249MB
I stored the original navcore (8.something) and when reinstalled on the device, works great but a little clunky. Would love to have a more up to date navcore, if I can. Thanks.
Many many thanks to all the great tomtom hackers on these forums for providing the Customer Service that Tomtom has not offered unfortunately. Will try donating when I get my problem fixed.

Hi
I have application 9.541.3145439.2
Gps v1.20 boot 5.5282
This works on a XL with 64mb ram.
Does not work on a XL with 32mb ram (does the same as yours)
Seems you've got plenty of ram ?
I think I need a version with a swap file for the 32mb ram version which I have not found yet.
On the 32mb XL I have got 6.3 mb ram available and on the 64 mb XL it's 25.7 mb.
But now I wonder because you've got plenty of ram and it does the same as my 32mb XL .?

I think you found the root of the problem (thanks), the ONE XL definitely has 32 MB not 64 (as I can see when holding the ON button for 15 sec at boot up). OK, now to find a Navcore for 32 MB devices...
