Ok what is the problem with the sound ? does voices/music play but no sound or dont play at all ?? create a file on the root of your device called "model.txt" and inside type x50

already tried, everything works but no voice, just silence, but the routes operate without sound!???

ok please make shure there is battery in your device, try it pluggd in (sounds very simple but i have had a lot of users trying to run with a flat battery) if you got a chargd battery please use the tomtom clear flash tool, then come back here

Hi,

I've got a XL2 and have the same problem when I downgrade (copy config, nav & system) over the 9.101 installation. Everything seems to work but there is no audio at all. e4kata above is on about the menu looking like calculator buttons - the simplified menu is really awful - I'm used to using an old version of TT on my Dell PDA which works well and has the full menu.

Can anyone help with the best way to get the XL2 downgraded so that all of the menu functions are available again? (Mainly custom POIs I need)

hmm ok the only thing to suggest is to try other versions of v9 navcore start from the earlyest and work your way newer , they all look the same

Hey, i got a question about updating my navcore.

I have a 730 GO with the official v8.351 navcore on it, map currently in use is the western_and_central_europe_2Gb_845.2645 with IQ routes.
The thing i always wondered is: will i get any benifit from upgrading to a v9... navcore?

i have a tt one version 2 i think. takes a memory card in bottom.
changed to navcore 8.417 and was wondering what navcore i can change to now? also which map would work with it?

If that navcore is working for you then there is no need to change it, id stick with it, also v 850 is the current maps what country are you after ?

managed to get 9.026 nav working but with old map =( trying some 850 maps see if it will work with them
