9.510 is the current navcore for your XL IQ Routes
No external card slot?
Specifically what maps have you tried?

Confirm that you are using FastActivate Latest Update dated 13/12/13.
Confirm that there is a ttgo.bif file, in the root of your XL. FastActivate uses this file in the map patching process.
Confirm that the 9.485 navcore is already patched.
If still no success, put FastActivate & the ttgo.bif file in the map folder & run option 2 to patch the map.

1. Look for a .meta.dct file in the map folders, that you have tried to patch, to confirm that the maps are correctly patched.
2. FFR, the data in a ttgo.bif file needed to patch a map remains the same, no matter how old or new the ttgo.bif is, as long as it is from the same device.

device name :tomtom xl iq routes
application 9485

it's Incomprehensible ... (the ttgo.bif is the same as the beginning )

There is not meta for France_910_4873 at all.... where you download your map only France_910_4973 meta is available and....
why you not use these
France_920_5267
France_920_5270
France_920_5276

1. I have been aware of this since post 1.
2. I am trying to determine his problem using the maps that he has, rather than d/l more maps and still have the same problem.

You are either using an old version of FA,
have problems with the rights in Windows,
or already have a wrong DCT in the map folder(s) (if so delete the dct file and try again).
