Fullbackup 9.405 incl. AST TTS Tomplayer and Tripmaster

Postby Downunder35m » Sun Mar 25, 2012 3:11 pm

It's been a long time since I uploaded a fullbackup, so I decided to do it with the most current NC.

About the fullbackup:
As said it is the 9.405, which was meant for the TT Start.
I included the full ASR folder and the LoquendoTTS voice of Kate with my TTS modifications.
Tripmaster and Tomplayer are included for those that want a bit more.

Installation:
It is a fullbackup, so both overwriting your existing installation as well as putting it on an empty device should work fine.
All you have to do is to add your map folder.
In case you have no current map, FastActivate is already included.

Additional notes:
There are some premium voices included, so you have to activate those, can be done in one go with the map.
Only the X20 to X50 emulations are included because the included features are most likely not working on 32mb models or the XL series.
If you don't want Tomplayer and/or Tripmaster you delete the corresponding folders, plus for Tomplayer the folders "video" and "audio".
To delete the menu entries deleted the corresponding files in the folder "sdkregistry".

This Navcore won't support TMC receivers, only Live services, from NC9.4X TT discontiued support for the normal TMC receivers.

The password is listed in the posting right above yours ;)

Hello, the navcore is very good, and running well in my TOMTOM Go940 Live, but there're 2 questions:

1. no suspend, only shut down, every time it start from begining, with legal notice.
2. is it possible to get rid of Legal notice window?

Thanks.

TT implemented the stuff the way it is, only mod I made to it as the suicide.dat in the root that shuts the device off completely instead of leaving it in sleep mode.
If you delete that file the TT stays on standby until shut down by default, it might delay the legal for that time.

I installed the Fullbackup on my tomtom 910. TT functions ok, although I'm getting nagged that it's a wrong version by HOME. I cannot get map North_America_2GB_890_4222 to show, although it is listed in "Manage my go". It is NOT listed in "switch map". The North_America_2GB_890_4222 map came pre-patched with *.dct. I tried AutoActivate and FastActivate a few times and received *.dct and meta files. STILL, I'm can only browse my old map, which is version 66.xxx. HELP.

1. To fix version error.
Open the ttgo.bif file with Notepad.
Replace the values in lines 9 & 10 with these::
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=7903
ApplicationVersion=9183
Save this change by clicking "File" in the upper left corner of windows explorer, then "Save as" ttgo.bak. At this point, there is only a ttgo.bak file in the root, no ttgo.bif.
Disconnect & reboot. Now you will have a ttgo.bak, a ttgo.bif & a ttgo.ori file in the root & no error message.

2. Maps must be patched for the unit it is loaded into & can't be pre-patched, unless your unit's data was used to pre-patch it. Make sure that you don't have a map folder within a map folder. Has the 66.xxx map been patched?

Followed tendriver's suggestions and the following error remains (from HOME):

ERROR: 573/#[Please Register or Login to download file] Error from server: You have an invalid version of the TomTom application installed on your TomTom device. To use HOME you need to install the correct version of the TomTom application.

Error code: 573

Map 660.xxx came with the 910 and has not been patched (I believe).

As for map North_America_2GB_890_4222, the *.dct files were removed and regenerated with AutoActivate. Still map is not shown in "switch maps". Map is located in North_America_2GB_890_4222 folder in root, NOT in another folder. What are the recommended NavCore and map for the 910? Please. Thanks.

1. If done correctly, the procedure always works.
2. If 660 has not been patched & is functional, then your navcore is not patched.

Please, how does one patch 660 correctly. Fool-proof instructions would be appreciate. This is my second day trying to learn this knowledge. If 660 patches correctly, then North_America_2GB should display? I'm also assuming Fullbackup 9.405 is the compatible navcore for the 910? Thanks.

1. An unpatched map will only work on the unit, if it was installed by TomTom, either at the factory or in a download. It requires an unpatched navcore.
2. If a map is downloaded from elsewhere, like a forum, then both the map & navcore must be patched.
3. If your 660 is not patched & is functioning, then the navcore is not patched. If you patch 660, if will no longer function until the navcore is patched. No, patching 660 will not make NA 2GB display. A patched navcore & NA 2GB map will make it display.
4. Go here: TomTom Current Configuration {29.09.2011} Read the instructions. Run the program & post the results here.
