How do I get TT home to recognise I have 9.026 instead of 8.

Hi
I have installed navcore 9.026 on my TT 730 and works great. When I connect to TT Home, it thinks I have 8.351. The tomtom when disconnected shows its running 9.026.

What do I need to do to get TT Home to realise the Navcore is 9.026? I have 3 files ttgo.bif, ttgo.ori, ttgo.bak all showing 8.351 as the navcore!! Even after a hard reset, they don't change.

Is there something I need to place in the config folder to get it recognised by TT Home? I read the "readmenot.txt" file but could not understand.

I need this in order to add destinations from google maps straight to the satnav.

Thanks for any help

1. 8.351 is the current official navcore for your 730. If TT Home sees that you don't have the current version it will try to install it for you. To prevent this from happening, you 730 is set correctly to show 8.351.
2. Do nothing. You want TT Home to see 8.351 & not 9.026.
3. Nope.
4. What issue does your unit showing 8351 cause you with google maps?

Actually I have the same but reversed problem. TT Home see my 9.026, but I would prefer being seen as 8.351.

Open the ttgo.bif file with Notepad.
Replace lines 9 & 10 with these:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8351
ApplicationVersion=9982
Save this change by clicking "File" in the upper left corner of windows explorer, then "Save as" ttgo.bak. At this point, there is only a ttgo.bak file in the root, no ttgo.bif.
Disconnect & reboot. Now you will have a ttgo.bak, a ttgo.bif & a ttgo.ori file in the root. TT Home should now see 8.351.
