Hey all, I am very new to this (as in a few minutes new), but I do have fairly extensive computer knowledge so I shouldn't have too much trouble I am hoping. I have a TT one that I purchased when vacationing in Hawaii. Once I returned home to Canada I found that there is no map for Canada in my TT. So, to change to a new map, do I need to install a new navcore first, or can I just modify the existing navcore? Once the navcore is replaced and/or modified, must I use downloaded maps with the same version number as the one currently on the TT? Thanks.

EDIT TO ADD: Sorry I forgot to mention that this is the smaller screen TT one, the 3.5" one as opposed to the 4.3 inch one. Apparently that makes a difference as to which navcore I should install?

You only have 1 option in the current 890 map edition. USA & Canada 890.4235. It is compatible with your current navcore.
