Nice to know if any chance of the latest Navcores to be ported for the older devices
or we reach the end of line with 9x?

A list of all the current navcores for the units that use TT Home are in post 1 of the V8 & V9 Navcores thread. The navcores for the units that use MyTomTom, ie 11 & 12, are not compatible with the older units.

Important note for new Tomtom models like VIA, Start20/25, Go1xxx - please read!

So thats it. Upgrade to new TT or work with V9. I've been using Nav 9.485 on my G710.
These Nav be fine so as long we can use new maps.

You will be able to use new maps for a long long time.

Chances are TT might change the format (Coding) of the new maps just as the new TT Models can't be hacked.
But always say that humans coded it so others can reverse the code so may be at the moment no one is paying any attention to the new HD format?

Why do we have useless discussion about things we don't even know to happen?
I suggest to stop that cr... and focus on things we know and can do.

There is ZERO chance, since there are millions of TTs around the world that use the "old format".

Thats a matter of opinion. I don't consider it useless discussion talking about future trends and to see whether someone smart enough around to find out the tools to access the new linux TT models.

1. Nope! That's a matter of FACT.
2. FACT: Usable maps will be available for older models for years to come!!
3. FACT: The best there is have been trying for 2 1/2 years to crack the new models. There has been some progress & work continues at a brisk pace!!

Thanks Tendriver, so we will wait for the news before upgrading to new models.
We will leave it here for now.
