Navcore 9.485 for most devices

Postby Downunder35m » Fri Apr 12, 2013 11:48 pm

For the computer voice you only download the corresponding .CAB file in our voice section and unpack it to folder on your PC.
Preferable name the folder "LoquendoTTS" ;)
Now you copy the content from the LoquendoTTS folder on your device into the folder on your PC - overwriting existing files.
This step is to make sure the patched files overwriting the standard files provided by TT, so don't mess it up ;)
When done copy the folder back to your device.
If you are good with the Explorer and know what you do:
Simply copy the .cab content directly into the LoquendoTTS folder on your device, but DO NOT overwrite existing files.

You can delete the chinese files as they are only for the Asian support of keyboard and map.

Today I used your 'Added a worry free NC 9.485 installer' and it is friggin' awesome !
No discussion here, it's worth every bit it occupies and more !

I did had a tiny problem installing it because I had already installed a large map and it came up with an error that the available space was insufficient.
I easily solved it by temporarily moving a 100MB during the installation.
Smooth sailing from then.

Just to avoid misunderstandings.
1. What you are saying here will accomplish that existing device files will survive.
2. Here you are stating the opposite. I think what you want to say is: "This step is to make sure the patched files will be overwritten by the standard files provided by TT..."

That would also be the result of: "Simply copy the .cab content directly into the LoquendoTTS folder on your device, but DO NOT overwrite existing files."

Please determine what's correct and if you correct your post, you can delete these lines from my post (or I will do it later).

1. Download the voiceofyourchoice.cab. Create a new folder on your desktop & title it LoquendoTTS. Unzip the downloaded .cab into the created LoquendoTTS folder on your desktop. Copy the files in your device's LoquendoTTS folder into the desktop LoquendoTTS folder, overwriting any common files.
2. Nope, you have it backwards. You overwrite the .cab files, in the desktop LoquendoTTS folder, with the files in your device's LoquendoTTS folder.

If in doubt:
Start with an empty device.
Copy the Loquendo files onto the device.
Add your voices, icons and so on.
Install the Navcore and confirm to overwrite existing files.
This way you can be sure you got all files you need and that all Loquendo relevant stuff will be replaced by the Navcore, leaving the installed voices workable.

Hello, I'm ashamed to ask but I feel helpless. I'm not used to installing softwares or anythings and I've been reading threads evreywhere to try to install the map I wanted (Europe West) but can't seem to figure out how to do it. I wanted to install this navocore first but i can't download it since I do not even reach that point. When I go to stealth.to website, I 've got nowhere to enter the password you're talking about. What is wrong with me?! Please help! There are so many things I have to do after just installing this navcore, I'm not sure I'll be able to do it before the vacations I need the map in the first place!
As for information I've got a Tomtom one new edition E2

Where are you seeing stealth.to? All of Downunder's 9.485 versions, that I have looked at, go thru linksave.in to filefactory.com for the download.

1st page of this thread, downunder35m says "Edit:
Note for downloading.
On the stealth.to website you enter the password in the box left of the text "weiter" and press enter.
The next page will say that the file is not available - this is not true and is only for protection, simply click on "download". Don't click on "mirror" as currently there is none
You might be forwared to an advertisement - you can see it because in the top right corner it will say "skip this advertisement". Click on "skip..." if you see it to get to the actual download. If you click on the download button below you only clicked on an ad
Now you are on the hosters site where you can choose between free and premium download. "

If you can give me a simpler way, I'll be thrilled!

Nope. Disregard the "Note for downloading".

All of the links in Navcore 9.485 for most devices post 1 are in BLUE.

One thing solved, I'll have to see if this is enough since as you saw I have not been able to install the map correctly either! Thank you so much for your help.

I thought I had solved this problem but it seems the only link I have is Downunder's config. Is that the navcore? I don't think so, so where is the link to be able to download the navcore? I can't see it. Is it a problem with my computer?
I have followed the guide you had given me in another thread, have eventually managed to download the map completely but still cannot get it to work since I don't get the .meta.dct and can't patch tomtom home.

can you help me again, please?

1. All of the links in Navcore 9.485 for most devices post 1 are in BLUE. There are 7 of these BLUE links for different devices. Do you not see them?
2. Put a copy of the current FastActivate & a copy of your device's ttgo.bif file in the unzipped new map folder. Run FA to patch the map.
3. Get your your device up & running, before you worry about TT Home.

I'm also having problem seeing BLUE links on post 1 of Navcore 9.485 for most devices.

The only BLUE link in the post is "Get my Config Please use this program and post the result with your initial request!"

I have just registered, does this make a difference?
Thanks
