Just to avoid misunderstandings.
1. What you are saying here will accomplish that existing device files will survive.
2. Here you are stating the opposite. I think what you want to say is: "This step is to make sure the patched files will be overwritten by the standard files provided by TT..."

I'm not used to installing softwares or anythings and I've been reading threads evreywhere to try to install the map I wanted (Europe West) but can't seem to figure out how to do it. I wanted to install this navocore first but i can't download it since I do not even reach that point. When I go to stealth.to website, I 've got nowhere to enter the password you're talking about. What is wrong with me?! Please help! There are so many things I have to do after just installing this navcore, I'm not sure I'll be able to do it before the vacations I need the map in the first place!
As for information I've got a Tomtom one new edition E2

2. I have followed the guide you had given me in another thread, have eventually managed to download the map completely but still cannot get it to work since I don't get the .meta.dct and
3. can't patch tomtom home.
can you help me again, please?

The only BLUE link in the post is "Get my Config Please use this program and post the result with your initial request!"
I have just registered, does this make a difference?
Thanks
