I have even tried googling linksave and entering the website but i believe its down. on the torrent front I have had it running for three hour's on utorrent with no connections {a friend has also tried on vuse with the same results}

1. Download Instructions:
Scroll toward the bottom of the LinkSave.in page, that opens, until you see "The visitorpassword that you have entered is wrong" notice.
Below this notice, is a gray box titled Visitorpassword. Type downunder in the gray box & click enter. The download link/links will be at the bottom
of the page that opens. Use the single downward pointing arrow under the word "Download" to download the navcore. DO NOT CHOOSE “ALL PARTS”
2. The torrent is 538MB!!!!

It appears that you have a browser or firewall issue.

hi, i installed the navcore-9.485 on a tomtom xl classic V2 and it surprised me with turning the screen 90 degree.
on home the screen is not wrong.
it was originaly using navcore 9.465 and i'm using map west europe 900-4613 and that works fine.
when i replace the file "ttsystem" in 9.485 to the one of 9.465 the screen is ok.
but then the sound doesn't work anymore.
Are more people having this problem and is there a solution for it already ?
i installed 9.485 on a tt-one V3 and a tt-live xl both also with map w-europe 900-4613 and they work fantastic :).
i added a picture of the screen problem

You can not simply change a Navcore by replacing only the ttsystem file.
There are more files involved and a clean install is the only way to make sure you are not messing everything up.

""You can not simply change a Navcore by replacing only the ttsystem file.

:) Ofcourse i'm aware of that and i did a clean install of 9.485 when the problem ocurred, after the install ithe screen was turned 90 degree, but the touchscreen worked as if screen was not turned.
Then, because of the turned screen, i started experimenting and replaced the ttsystem file, then screen was normaly but sound didn't work.
before changing ttsystem i also tried all emulations but the turned screen problem excisted.
i have another tomtom-xl (model 4EGoo) of few years old that works fine with the 9.485 so the problem only excist in the new tomtom-xl (model 4ET03) that i bought new few months ago.
original the new tomtom-xl classic (4ET03) is using 9.465.(just chaging navcore to try it out :) )
Is anyone else on the forum using that type and is havind the same problem with the screen when using 9.485 ?
And maybe you could look into it sometimes when have time.
Rest me to say thanks for the very good work you did till now.

There is no real difference between the two NC's, only the support for asian languages and maps.

i noticed that , that's why i was surprised the screen was turned 90 degree when i installed it,
i will send you pm some later today with the config of the tomtom-xl classic with original nc and with the 9.9485 that turns the screen.
thanks for your quick reaction

9.485 is a Chinese version of 9.465. You will not see any difference in it from the 9.450 version, which is an asian navcore.

If you are happy with your current NC then stick with it, nothing lost, nothing gained with the new version.

I'm using nc 9.485 and it runs great on my 32mb One 3rd Ed (v6) but I just have three questions relating to voices -

- when using the computer voices from downunder35m's full backup there is a noticeable map movement freeze of say 2 seconds just before the voice speaks. Is this normal? Can it be improved?
- Both the names of Irish voices Kathy & Sean appear in Chinese text in TT's voice menu. No other voices are like this - no big deal just wondering why.
- What version of navcor can I use in the ttgo.bif file to enable TThome to display computer voices & allow me to download them?

Many thanks.

Are you using the version with memory boost? If so the delay should be gone after about 3 min - that is the aprox time to create the full swap.
You can edit the voice files to have a different number, both the filename and the content of the settings files.
However I would not bother too much as long as the voice works.
You can't change anything about downloading the voices as you need an account linkedto a device with TTS support.
Since your device has no official TTS support you won't get any download for computer voices.
Just check our voices section ;)
