Got the NC installed and working with current AUS maps.
But no TTS. Tried to install TTS fix, but it keeps asking me to "insert disc: Navcore 9.510"

Help!!

Where do you get that message?
I have never seen a message like that on a TT.
By the way: we are not clairvoyant here....

In that case you must have done something wrong.
All you need is download and start the EXE - did you manually unpack it?

May be, but it worked fine to install the NC... So I guess I must have done something correct...

Just done it again to be safe.

Just ran the rar executable, entered the password,
5387
and got your dialog.
Selected GO Models then install.
5388
browse to TOMTOM drive.
5389
Wait for it to finish.
Then try to run the soundfix as above.
and get the same message...

Any ideas please?

Well done, so what did you do?
By the way: A quick check of my signature would have answered your PM ;)

By installing your Aussie Kate voice, it effectively reinstalled the LoquendoTTS and kicked it back to life.

Thanks for the tip on attaching the config files, I now know for next time.

Hi everyone,

I have a TomTom One V4, on which TTS (using Vocalizer) has mysteriously stopped working. It seemed to have worked fine with the last navcore I used (9.485) - didn't need the sound fix using that navcore, but now it refuses to work with or without the sound fix. Config as follows:

ttgo.bif:
DeviceName=TomTom ONE
DeviceVersionHW=ONE (v4)
DeviceSerialNumber=Z1xxxxxxxxxx
BootLoaderVersion=55242
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9510
ApplicationVersion=1234792.1
CurrentMap=USA_Canada_910_4892
CurrentMapVersion=910.4892

Map(s):
H:\USA_Canada_910_4892\

Storage:
Size 3767MB, Free 1839MB

Soundfix has nothing to do with Vocalizer, only Loquendo.
Do a hard reset followed by the TT clear flash tool, if no luck perform a clean install of your setup and check again.

Fixed the issue - apparently, at least on my particular unit, TTS only works with emulation set to ONE (as opposed to self).

I`ve just bought a Go720 to replace my broken 910.

Wiped the internal memory, installed 9.510, ran clearflash, patched the maps / speedcams and it works perfectly :clap:

The only issue I`ve found so far is every time I power it up, I still get the annoying Legal Notice screen and have to click `I agree`. I also had this issue on 9.485. I gather it`s something TomTom implemented, probably some disclaimer they had to introduce, but still annoying.

Still testing, but it has been fine for the last few days.
